Signing up for an account has many benefits. You can log in and check the status of your order, track shipments, manage customer credit, and more. You can log in the next time you come back to make a purchase and all of your information will be populated for you. Sure, it’s a couple of minutes of extra time on your first purchase, but you’ll find it was time well spent and time saved in the long run. All orders under 150 lbs are shipped via UPS. While most New Surplus orders placed before 3:00 PM EST Monday-Friday may ship that same day if possible, sometimes Certified Reconditioned items in your order or high order volume at our facility can cause the order to be delayed. Our standard production time for all orders is 5-10 business days. We aim to offer the highest quality Certified Reconditioned products on the market, which means extensive testing and extremely thorough final quality checks before the item leaves our facility. Time-sensitive air shipments are given top priority and we make every effort physically possible to ship these orders on the same day. LTL (freight) shipments is available, but not carrier specified. We offer shipping options to all 50 states as well as international options. See below. We do not ship on weekends or holidays.
Signature Required / Insured Shipments
Package theft is on the rise and in order to prevent your package from being stolen we require a signature on all packages valued at over $1000. All packages are insured valued over $500.
Free Economy Shipping Promotion
We are currently offering Free Economy Shipping on all online product orders totaling $500 dollars or more. Give us a call before placing your order if you have any questions or concerns over which items and shipping locations qualify for the promotion and which do not. See "Shipping" section below for shipping procedures. Expedited shipping services do not qualify. International shipping does not qualify. The Free Economy Shipping promotion is only available to the lower 48 states within the United States. Free Economy Shipping orders will ship via the carrier of our choosing. When Free Economy Shipping is selected, the order is subject to a potential increased production time of 8-14 business days, based on current order volume. Production time days do not include weekends and holidays when the shop is closed.
We offer International shipping options available for virtually anywhere in the world; these options will appear when you enter your location information in the Shopping Cart or Checkout page. International buyers are responsible for any and all necessary duties, taxes, or import fees associated with the order. We do not ship on weekends and holidays.
We meet shipping requirements for common carriers. In the unlikely event you receive a damaged shipment, don’t panic. Report the damage to the delivery driver immediately if they are still present. Inform us so that we can also contact the carrier and support the claim, and so we can also make arrangements with you for a replacement.
New Surplus items are the same as any other new product in that they have never been energized. These products are called “Surplus” because they are attained through channels that are not directly from the manufacturer or the manufacturer’s select authorized distributors. The product images shown are for identification purposes only. The item you receive may have minor cosmetic differences unrelated to function. Such differences may include version, series, product label material, label color, and packaging. We back these items with a one year warranty.
Certified Reconditioned products are those that have been installed and/or energized previously, and have since been inspected and brought back up to fully clean and working conditions. The product images shown are for identification purposes only. The item you receive may have minor cosmetic differences unrelated to function. Such differences may include version, series, product label material, label color, and packaging. Our reconditioning is done in-house by certified technicians and backed by a full one year warranty. Some exceptions apply to the year warranty, such as Heaters which fail by design. In such cases, the product is certified to be clean and free of defects upon arrival. The reconditioning process often takes place after the order is placed, to ensure that the product is as clean and that the testing is as accurate as possible. Because of this, the production time for Certified Reconditioned products can vary greatly. Please call us in advance for an estimated production time on your order. Warranty service is provided in-house for both Certified Reconditioned and New Surplus products. Coverage on Certified Reconditioned and New Surplus products is provided for the duration of One Year (from the date your order is processed) and covers normal shipping charges, repairs, parts, and labor necessary to recertify the product. Warranty service is exclusively offered for products which require service due to manufacturer defect or flaw in reconditioning workmanship. Warranty coverage will not be offered for products that have been used for inappropriate applications, used abnormally, or for products which have had their warranty seal tampered with or removed. For products which are not covered by the warranty conditions, or are outside the warranty duration, low-cost repair service is offered. See also Terms and Conditions.
You may cancel your order any time prior to shipment for an immediate refund. If the order has already been shipped it is too late to cancel, and your order will need to be returned via the returns process below.
Returns may be accepted if authorized within 30 days of your invoice date. Returns sent without prior notification or approval may not be accepted. Refunds are subject to a minimum of 20% restocking fee plus any shipping charges on standard returns. An additional restocking fee is applied to items returned to us in any condition not identical to what was originally shipped. This fee is assessed to cover any service needed to restore the item to sellable condition, including cleaning and retesting. Non-standard returns such as products that have been installed or energized, or special order items, may not be authorized for return or may be subject to a higher restocking fee.
"Click For Info" Items
"Click for Info" items are temporarily out of stock items. These items may be frequently unavailable from our usual supply channels, and as such will fluctuate in price depending on our cost at the time of placing the special order for you. The price shown on the product listing will be based upon our previous supply cost the last time this item was ordered and is subject to change at any time.
Minimum Order Amount
Depending on current business volume, a minimum order amount may be imposed. If you add an item to your cart that falls short of this amount, you will see a message that informs you of the current minimum dollar amount.
All purchases over $100 are eligible for PayPal Credit. Simply use the online form to apply for credit approval. If your application is approved you can use PayPal Credit for any purchase you make with us over the $100 minimum. Just use one of the PayPal Express Checkout buttons on our product page, shopping cart, or checkout and sign into your PayPal account when prompted. Setting up and purchasing with a credit account has never been easier than this.
